The Memphis Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (Memphis MPO) is responsible for the transportation policy development, planning, and programming for the counties of Shelby and Fayette, Tennessee, and DeSoto and Marshall Counties, Mississippi. The MPO planning boundary covers all of Shelby County, Tennessee and DeSoto County, Mississippi and portions of Fayette County, Tennessee and Marshall County, Mississippi.

Household Travel Surveys are different than other surveys. These surveys make real changes where you live. Your input will improve the lives of the people you care about AND you get *paid for that input!

The Memphis Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (Memphis MPO) needs your input to help shape future improvements to roads, transit, sidewalks, and bike lanes in the greater Memphis region. Participating is quick, simple, and secure. Your data will be used anonymously for regional planning purposes. leads the metropolitan transportation planning process to support broader community goals like economic vitality, air quality, environmental stewardship, and overall quality of life. They are currently conducting a household travel survey in the Memphis region, which includes the counties of Shelby and Fayette, Tennessee, and DeSoto and Marshall Counties, Mississippi.

Memphis MPO has contracted with ETC Institute and their household travel division to administer this survey.

The results will be used by the MPO and local officials to plan future transportation improvements in the area.
